DTC B1538-53: Electrically Deployable Tow Bar Movement Motor - Deactivated: Action

Check the security and integrity of the deployable towbar circuit connectors and rectify as required
Check the deployable towbar for mechanical failure and rectify as required
Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run the diagnostic routine - Enable Protected Outputs (0x205E) - to reactivate the deployable towbar movement motor. Clear DTC and retest
If fault persists, using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the correct deployable towbar control module software is installed and rectify as required
