Possible Causes
- Ambient light sensor circuit - Short circuit to power
- Ambient light sensor failure
NOTE:
The ambient light sensor and circuits are integral to the integrated control panel
- Clear the DTC and retest. Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, check datalogger signal - Ambient sensor voltage (0x721C). Check that the voltage decreases when the sensor is covered and increases when a light source is directed into the sensor. If the sensor voltage does not change with varying light intensity, install a new integrated control panel as necessary
