- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system check the restraints control module for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the power and ground connections to the restraints control module
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system check the central junction box for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the restraints control module circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit including intermittent faults. This circuit is a single wire which connects the restraints control module to the central junction box and the engine control module
