DTC U0402-86: Invalid Data Received From TCM - Signal invalid: Action
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, check transmission control module, for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, complete a CAN network integrity test
- Cycle the ignition off, then on, and check if the DTC is still logged
- Clear the DTC and retest
