ISSUE
When launching PATHFINDER from JLR App Launcher, the login cannot be completed as a white window is stuck at the middle of the screen showing "PATHFINDER Starting backend..." avoiding the user to type their login details.
CAUSE
If the PATHFINDER logo in the main menu of JLR App Launcher is pressed more than once, a second instance of PATHFINDER is launched.
ACTION
- Restart the JLR Approved Diagnostic Equipment
- Ensure the PATHFINDER logo is pressed just once when launching PATHFINDER.
PERMANENT CORRECTIVE ACTION
The Permanent Corrective Action will be released on Monday 22th July with a release of new version of a JLR AppLauncher.
- PATHFINDER connect will show JLR AppLauncher 29 is downloading.
- Once JLR AppLauncher 29 has downloaded the user must select 'Install Now'
- When JLR AppLauncher 29 installation is complete, Pathfinder will only launch once and the "PATHFINDER Starting backend..." message will no longer be displayed.
