DTC B1460-02: Left Latch - Claw Switch - General signal failure: Action

Check the operation of the latch for open/close. If latch opens, then refer to diagnostic steps below
Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the lower tailgate left ajar switch circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required, clear DTC and retest
If fault persists, check and install a new lower tailgate left latch as required
If the latch is stuck closed, reset the tailgate control module to force the soft close actuator to rewind. Clear DTC and retest.
If the fault persists and the latch remains stuck closed, check and install a new lower tailgate left soft close actuator as required
