For standard or adaptive speed control to engage, the vehicle must be in the following configuration:

• Transmission in D (drive)
• Transfer case in high range
• Terrain Response® in the general (special programs off) or grass/gravel/snow program
• HDC (hill descent control) off
• ASL off
• Traveling at 20 mph (32 km/h) or more.
