DTC B100D-96: Column Lock Authorization - Component internal failure: Action

NOTE:
Prior to clearing this DTC, carry out the Vehicle Functional Reset application using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system
- Turn the steering wheel to ensure that the electric steering column lock mechanism is free to move. Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, clear the DTCs and retest
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the electric steering column lock control module power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new electric steering column lock control module
