DTC C0082-49: Brake System Malfunction Indicator - Internal electronic failure: Action

Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, complete a CAN network integrity test
Check the vehicle charging system performance to ensure the voltage regulation is correct
Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the power and ground circuits to the ABS control module for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTC and retest
Check the connectors to the ABS control module for damage, contamination, or loose pins and rectify as required
Clear DTC and monitor for reoccurrence. If DTC reoccurs install a new ABS control module
