- Refer to the applicable SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM(S) and check variable camshaft timing solenoid circuit for short circuit to power
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system clear all stored DTCs using the `Diagnosis Menu' tab and retest
- Check and install a new variable camshaft timing solenoid as required
