P0071-21: Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit "A" Range/Performance - Signal amplitude < minimum: Action

- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system check datalogger signals - Ambient Air Temperature - (0xF446)
- Check that a plausible value is displayed
- Refer to the applicable SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM(S) and check ambient air temperature sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system clear all stored DTCs using the `Diagnosis Menu' tab and retest
- Check and install a new ambient air temperature sensor as required
