Possible Causes

NOTE:
LH knock sensor
- The engine control module measured a signal voltage above a specified range but not necessarily a short circuit to power, gain too high
- Severe engine wear causing excessive mechanical noise Knock sensor failure
- Check for excessive mechanical noise being generated by the engine
- Check and install a new knock sensor as required
