Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Specifications
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
  4. G11588866

    Release and disconnect the selector lever cable.

  5. G11588867

    Remove the transmission selector lever.

  6. G11588868

    Remove the transmission control module (TCM).
