SERVICE INFORMATION

Symptom 204000 Instrumentation

ISSUE

A customer may report that the ambient temperature reading displayed on the Instrument Cluster is approximately 3-4 degrees centigrade higher than the actual temperature.

CAUSE

Software calibration error.

ACTION

Land Rover are currently investigating the concern and will release a Technical Service Bulletin shortly detailing the necessary repair procedure. In the meantime please do not carry out and further diagnosis or component replacement until a solution has been communicated.

NOTE: Only applicable to 3.0TDV6 GEN2 derivatives.
