Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, complete a CAN network integrity test
Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the power and ground connections to the engine control module
Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the CAN circuit between the central junction box and the engine control module for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, re-configure the engine control module with the latest level software
