Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index DTC: Anti-Lock Braking System (Abs)

NOTE: If a control module or component is suspect and the vehicle remains under manufacturer warranty, refer to the Warranty Policy and Procedures information , or determine if any prior approval program is in operation, before the replacement of a component.
NOTE: Generic scan tools may not read the codes listed, or may read only 5-digit codes. Match the 5 digits from the scan tool to the first 5 digits of the 7-digit code listed to identify the fault (the last 2 digits give extra information read by the manufacturer-approved diagnostic system).
NOTE: When performing voltage or resistance tests, always use a digital multimeter (DMM) accurate to three decimal places, and with an up-to-date calibration certificate. When testing resistance always take the resistance of the DMM leads into account.
NOTE: Check and rectify basic faults before beginning diagnostic routines involving pinpoint tests.
NOTE: Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion.
NOTE: If DTCs are recorded and, after performing the pinpoint tests, a fault is not present, an intermittent concern may be the cause. Always check for loose connections and corroded terminals.

  • Check and adjust front wheel alignment. Refer to Specifications . Clear DTC and retest if DTC returns. Install a new steering wheel rotation sensor as required, refer to new module/component installation note at the top of the DTC Index. and Refer to Clockspring .
U1A13-87 Timeout - All Terrain Control Module Message
  • Terrain Response optimization switch circuit - short to ground, power, open circuit
  • Terrain Response switch failure
  • Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check terrain response switch circuits for short to ground, power, open circuit. Clear DTC and retest if DTC returns. Install a new terrain response switch as required. Refer to Ride and Handling Optimization Switch .
U1A14-00 CAN Initialization Failure - General Failure Information - No sub type information
  • CAN Bus communication error
  • CAN Bus circuit fault
  • Central junction box initialization error
  • Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, carry out a CAN network integrity test. Check other modules for related DTC's

  • Terrain Response switch software error
U2007-46 Valve(s) System Internal Failures - Calibration/parameter memory failure
  • No inlet valve calibration data found in EEPROM - Non-volatile memory failure
  • Clear DTC and retest if DTC returns. Install a new ABS module. Refer to the new module/component installation note at the top of the DTC Index
U2100-00 Control Module Not Configured - General Failure Information No sub type information
  • Car Configuration data not received
  • Check central junction box for DTCs and refer to DTC Index, re-test. If DTC returns, re-configure the central junction box using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system
U2101-00 Control Module Configuration Incompatible - General Failure Information No sub type information
  • ABS module/central junction box previously installed to other vehicle
  • Car Configuration File data incorrect for vehicle
  • Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system check and up-date the car configuration file as required. Clear the diagnostic trouble code and re-test. Install a new or the original ABS module/central junction box, refer to the new module/component installation note at the top of the DTC Index
U3003-16 Battery voltage low
  • ABS module supply circuit fault(s)
  • Carry out pinpoint tests associated with this DTC using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system
U3003-17 Battery voltage high
  • ABS module supply circuit fault(s)
  • Charging system fault(s)
  • Carry out pinpoint tests associated with this DTC using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system
U3003-62 Battery voltage signal compare failure
  • Mis-match in battery voltage, of 2 volts or more, between ABS module and central junction box
  • Carry out pinpoint tests associated with this DTC using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system
