Lower Accelerometer: Removal

- Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Specifications .
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the lower accelerometer.
- Using the special tool, release the accelerometer.
- Release and disconnect the electrical connector.
WARNING:
Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
CAUTION:
The accelerometer is an extremely delicate component and can easily be rendered unserviceable. Never use an accelerometer which has been dropped or subjected to mistreatment of any type.
