Center Console: Installation
- Install center console. Connect connector and bulb to cigar lighter. Fit center console to fascia. Install 2 bolts securing rear of center console to transmission tunnel. Connect connectors to seat switches. Fit switches to console. Move parking brake to lowered position. Fit cable to parking brake and secure with clevis pin and clip. Fit parking brake gaiter to console. Install bolts securing forward edge of console to transmission tunnel.
- On models equipped with veneer trim, position veneered console cover and connect connectors to switch pack. Install cigar lighter element and secure veneered console cover to console. On models equipped with base trim, connect connectors to switch pack, fit switch pack to console and secure with screws. Fit cover plate to switch pack, and rubber mat to console.
- On all models, fit transfer box gaiter and knob to lever. Secure transfer box gaiter to console. Connect connector to selector panel, fit and secure panel to center console. Fit spacer and knob to gear selector lever. On models from 2003 model year, install both center console cup holders.
