Telephone Voice Recognition Functions
The telephone can be accessed and controlled by the voice recognition system as follows:
- Dial Number
- This allows the user to dial a number (of up to 20 digits) by digit entry using voice commands of between "zero" and "nine". An edit facility allows changes to be made if an incorrect digit has been entered by using the command "correction".
- Numbers of up to 20 digits can be entered. If more than 20 digits are entered the system responds with a message 'Number too long' in the message center.
- Phone Book
- The phone book allows the user to add up to 50 'nametags' with stored phone numbers. The nametags are user identifiable association names for the allocated phone number. This phone book has no connection with the phone book stored on the phone handset's SIM card or phone memory.
