Electronic Throttle Interface Description

The Electronic Throttle Interface consists of 2 PWM output drives to control the throttle blade position, with 2 analogue signals for throttle position feedback. The 2 position signals have inverted characteristics. See Fig 1 .

There are three Electronic Throttle diagnostic checks, a fault is detected if:

  1. The battery voltage is greater than 7 volts and the difference between the actual and target throttle position is greater than 4%.
  2. Throttle Control

    Unable to learn the lower mechanical stop position.
  3. Throttle Control

    Return spring problem.
