Defrost Program Mode (PROG) Switch

Push switch operates automatic defrost function. When defrost is selected, PROG switch LED illuminates, defrost symbol and external air temperature are displayed. Inlet air source is set to fresh air, blowers are set to optimum speed, left and right target air temperatures are set to maximum, air distribution is set to windshield and side windows and related switch LED illuminates. Rear window heater activates for a timed cycle or, if already on, restarts timed cycle, and switch LED illuminates. Windshield heaters come on for a timed cycle or, if already on, restart timed cycle, and switch LED illuminates. While in defrost mode, windshield and rear window heaters can be operated to reset operation timers. A second press of PROG switch cancels defrost mode. All functions return to previous settings.
