Wheel Speed Sensor & Exciter Ring

The wheel speed sensor generates an AC voltage signal as the exciter ring rotates past the speed sensor. There is one wheel speed sensor and one 60-tooth exciter ring located at each wheel. Front exciter ring is located inside each front hub assembly on the outside of the CV joint. A rear exciter ring is bolted to the backside of each rear rotor.
