Anti-Theft Systems: Description
WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
Anti-theft system includes remote power door lock/unlock functions, anti-theft functions, and engine immobilization functions. Anti-theft components include: theft alarm unit, antenna, transmitter, lock actuators, alarm hood switch (if equipped), door key switch, door switches, inertia switch, hazard lights, horns, ultrasonic sensor and theft alarm LED.
