Rear Window

Window Lift ECU terminal No. 4 supplies voltage to rear window console and door switches for rear window operation. When a window console switch is in DOWN position, voltage is applied to window motor through UP switch contacts. Window motors operate because they are grounded through DOWN contacts of window console switch. When a switch is in UP position, polarity applied to window motor is reversed, causing motor to run in opposite direction and the window to close.
