Removal & Installation: Generator: Installation

NOTE: The fan guard is attached to the front fitting and the adjustment bracket bolt.
  1. Install the generator and the mounting bolts.
  2. Install the drive belt and adjust the belt tension. See Figure.
  3. Tighten the mounting bolts and the adjustment bracket and securing nut to specification. See Figure. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Connect the wiring leads to the generator.
  5. Connect the battery. Restore radio/cassette and CD code. See appropriate ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
