Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of the removal.
    NOTE: Do not turn the ignition switch ON or connect the battery cable while replacing the front impact sensor.
  2. After installing the front impact sensor, confirm proper system operation:

    Switch ON the ignition. The SRS indicator light should turn on for about six seconds and then off.
