VIS (Variable Induction System) Solenoid Valve #1

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the engine cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE COVER ")

  3. Disconnect the VIS (Variable Induction System) solenoid valve connector (A).

  4. Separate the hoses (A) from the valve.

  5. Remove the VIS solenoid valve (A) after removing the nut.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)
