DTCP1958-00: AWD-Torque Error: General Description

The All-Wheel Drive (AWD) ECU controls the AWD system so that the multi-panel clutch is pressed down by hydraulic pressure generated by rotating the hydraulic motor (actuator) mounted on the electronic coupling and transmitted torque to the rear wheels. In addition, depending on the amount of hydraulic pressure, the torque transmitted to the rear wheel changes depending on the degree of compression of the multi-plate clutch. The AWD ECU checks the voltage, current, and temperature of the motor drive circuit in the ECU that drives the hydraulic motor, detects abnormalities in the hydraulic motor and wiring, and stores warning lights and DTC.
