• The seatbelt system has two functions, depending on whether it is before or after an accident.

• Before an accident, it serves as a reminder function, alerting passengers about seatbelt use during stops and low-speed driving.
• After an accident, it helps reduce the impact by preventing the body from being thrown forward abruptly.
