Removal & Installation: Installation

NOTE:

Tighten the bolts and nuts to the specified torque.
Parts that have dropped may have internal damage, so inspect them before use.
When installing the power pack on the MDPS, install it in the following directions.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Perform the MDPS Tuning Data Setting and select regional specifications.
(Refer to MDPS System - "ADJUSTMENT ")
Perform the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) setting and Steering angle torque zero setting.
(Refer to MDPS System - "ADJUSTMENT ")
Remove the DTC code.
NOTE:
- Before removing the DTC code, check for any fault codes.
- Replace the entire MDPS power pack unit. (Do not disassemble the ECU and motor.)
Perform the MDPS performance test.
