Repair Procedures: Replacement

Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
(Refer to REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Cushion Assembly")
Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the rear seat belt buckle (B) after loosening the mounting bolt.

Tightening torque:

39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 Kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb.ft)

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Information
- The buckle and tongue of different types are impossible to be latched, so check that the buckle & tongue have the same types.
- Distinguish the rear side seat buckle from the center seat buckle before latching.
- If foreign materials are stuck in the inside button of buckle, it may cause interference during the latching process, leading to a functional problem (for example - beverages (viscous drinks), toothpicks, sand, plastic, vinyl, metal pieces, etc.)
- After latching the buckle and tongue, check the fastening force using a Push - Pull Gauge (fastening force: 3 kgf or less).
