Repair Procedures: Installation

Low Pressure Fuel Line [Extension Fuel Line ↔ Low Pressure Delivery Pipe] 

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
2. Inspect the leakage the fuel after installation.

Low Pressure Fuel Line [Extension Fuel Line ↔ Fuel Tank] 

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
2. Inspect the leakage the fuel after installation.

Low Pressure Fuel Line [Low Pressure Delivery Pipe ↔ High Pressure Fuel Pump] 

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
2. Inspect the leakage the fuel after installation.

High Pressure Fuel Line [High Pressure Fuel Pump ↔ High Pressure Delivery Pipe] 

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
   NOTE:

   • The existing high pressure fuel pipe must be replaced with a new one (do not reuse it).
   • Install the high pressure fuel pipe as following orders below.

   1. Tighten the flange nut (A) by hand

   2. Tighten the function block mounting bolt with specified torque.

      Tightening torque: 

      9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

   3. Tighten the flange nut (A) with specified torque.

      Tightening torque: 

      32.4 - 35.3 N.m (3.3 - 3.6 kgf.m, 23.9 - 26.0 lb.ft)

2. Inspect the leakage the fuel after installation.
