Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Release the residual pressure in fuel line.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")

  2. Remove the rear seat cushion.

    (Refer to Body - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Remove the air duct (A) by removing the mounting nuts.

  4. Remove the fuel pump service cover (A).

  5. Disconnect the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS) connector (A).

  6. Disconnect the Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM) connector (A) and Fuel Pressure Sensor (FPS) connector (B).

  7. Separate the fuel feed quick-connector (A).

  8. Remove the fuel pump module after removing the plate cover (A) by using a SST (09310 - B8100).
