DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty OCS
  • Short to heat wire or seat frame
  • Put electronic device on the passenger seat
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Battery voltage is between 9V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • OCS mat faulty
Diagnostic Time
  • 6 to 8.2s
Recovery Time
  • 6 to 8.2s
Symptom
  • Airbag warning lamp "OFF"
MIL ON Condition
  • MIL "ON"
Clear Condition
  • Replace OCS mat
  • Replace OCS ECU
