Repair Procedures: Replacement

Information 

There are two types of drive belt layouts. Depending on the type, refer to the correct type of repair procedure.

A Type 

1. Remove the drive belt.

   (Refer to Drive Belt System - "DRIVE BELT ")

2. Remove the idler cap cover (A).

3. Remove the idler (A).

   Tightening torque: 

   53.9 - 57.9 N.m (5.5 - 5.9 kgf.m, 39.8 - 42.7 lb.ft)

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

B Type 

1. Remove the drive belt.

   (Refer to Drive Belt System - "DRIVE BELT ")

2. Remove the idler cap cover (A).

3. Remove the idler (A).

   Tightening torque: 

   53.9 - 57.9 N.m (5.5 - 5.9 kgf.m, 39.8 - 42.7 lb.ft)

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
