Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the front wheel and tire.

    (Refer to Suspension System - "WHEEL ")

  3. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 - 13.8 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)

  4. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor wiring bracket (A) by loosening the bolt.

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 - 13.8 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)

  5. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor bracket (A) by loosening the bolt.

    Tightening torque: 

    19.6 - 29.4 N.m (2.0 - 3.0 kgf.m, 14.5 - 21.7 lb.ft)

  6. Remove the front wheel guard.

    (Refer to Body - "FRONT WHEEL GUARD ")

  7. Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the front wheel speed sensor.

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
