DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  • Short to battery in signal connector
  • Open in ground circuit
  • Poor connection or damaged connector
  • Faulty IAT sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is higher than 11V and lower than 16V
  • Engine coolant temperature (ECT) is higher than -30°C (-22°F)
Threshold Value
  • IAT voltage is higher than 4.85V (-40°C/-40°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously (5.0s/recurrence 100ms)
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
