Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Remove the console upper complete assembly.
    1. Remove the console upper complete assembly (A) by using a screwdriver or remover.

    2. Disconnect the console upper complete connector (A).

  3. Remove the dial-type SBW cover.
    1. Remove the console upper rear cover (A) by using a screwdriver or remover.

    2. Remove the console molding deco cover (A) by using a screwdriver or remover.

    3. Remove the dial-type SBW cover (A) by using a screwdriver or remover.

    4. Disconnect the dial-type SBW connector (A) and indicator connector (B).

  4. Remove the console upper switch (A) by loosening the mounting screws after disconnecting the connector.

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
