DTC P1830-00: Clutch Thermal Overstress: General Description

The All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) ECU sets the target torque volume according to the vehicle's driving conditions and controls the operation of the hydraulic motor to generate pressure suitable for the target torque. When the actual generated torque compared to the target torque amount is higher or lower than the limit value, the AWD ECU determines that the torque distribution of the multi-plate clutch is abnormal.
