Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds.

    (Refer to " Replacement  ") 

  3. Remove the steering wheel.

    (Refer to " Removal  ") 

  4. Disconnect the all connector (A) from the multifunction switch.

  5. Remove the multifunction switch (B) by loosening the mounting bolt (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 8.8 N.m (0.8 - 0.9 Kgf.m, 5.8 - 6.5 lb.ft)

    Information 

    When install the multifunction switch, unscrew and reassemble the clamp bolt (A) to check for sound.
