Basic Inspection

Inspection Procedure

Check fuses and relays.
Check battery terminals and charge status.
Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Good
- Go to "Circuit Inspection" procedure.
No Good
- Repair as necessary and then Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	Injector #2 connector	1 (-)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 0V
	Injector #2 connector	2 (+)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 8.2V
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	Injector #2 connector	1 (-)	ECM connector	86 (-)	Approx. below 1Ω
	Injector #2 connector	2 (+)	ECM connector	44 (+)	Approx. below 1Ω

Good

Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.

No Good

Repair or replace as necessary and then, Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
