Repair Procedures: Removal

NOTE:
  • When removing it with a remover, wrap a protective tape around it to prevent damage to the parts.
  • Be careful not to damage trim and panel.
  • Be careful to store and handle the crash pad when removing/installing because lubricant and oil can leave a stain on the trim.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the cluster fascia panel.

    (Refer to Body - "CLUSTER FASCIA PANEL ")

  3. Remove the crash pad center garnish (A) by using the remover.

  4. Remove the center air vent duct assembly (A).

  5. Disconnect the center air vent duct assembly connector (A).

  6. Remove the AVN upper panel (A).

  7. Remove the AVN head unit (A) after removing the mounting screws.

  8. Disconnect the AVN head unit connectors (A).
