Repair Procedures: Removal

- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe.NOTE: Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle as it may damage the paint. If brake fluid comes in contact with the paint, wash off immediately with water.
- Remove wheel nuts, front/rear wheel and tire (A) from front/rear hub.
Tightening torque:
107.9 - 127.5 N.m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb.ft)
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the front/rear wheel and tire.[Front]
- Loosen the flare nut (A) and then disconnect the tube.
- Disconnect the brake hose clip (B).
Tightening torque:
13.7 - 16.7 N.m (1.4 - 1.7 kgf.m, 10.1 - 12.3 lb.ft)
[Rear]
- Loosen the flare nut (A) and then disconnect the tube.
- Disconnect the brake hose clip (B).
Tightening torque:
13.7 - 16.7 N.m (1.4 - 1.7 kgf.m, 10.1 - 12.3 lb.ft)
- Loosen the front/rear brake caliper hose bolt (A).
Tightening torque:
24.5 - 29.4 N.m (2.5 - 3.0 kgf.m, 18.1 - 21.7 lb.ft)
