SERVICE INFORMATION

This Pitstop provides information on how to save radio presets on AVN 5.0 Wide, AVN 5.0 and D. Audio 2.0 Value head unit(s). The new 20MY Map Update software for these head units has a different method of saving radio presets on the head unit.

NOTE: D. Audio 2.0 Value head unit has the same radio screen shown for AVN 5.0 Wide (ON, SK3, SP2).

SAVING RADIO PRESETS

Tune to the desired radio station.
Next, on the radio screen, press the ' ' (star) button to save the channel as a preset.

The radio presets will be saved in their relevant blocks separated by radio band source.

Radio presets will always be saved in numerical order and this order cannot be changed.

For example if the '*' (star) on an FM channel is pressed it will be saved in FM Block. The block sequence will start with FM, followed by AM, and finally Sirius XM (as seen below). Within these blocks, a saved radio channel will be listed according to numerical order. The lowest numerical value will appear first, followed by higher numbered stations.

How to remove a radio preset:

To erase a preset, select the station to be removed and select the ' ' (star) button again so that it is not illuminated in color.
