Repair Procedures: Removal

- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the luggage side trim [RH].
(Refer to Body - "LUGGAGE SIDE TRIM ")
- Disconnect the smart tailgate unit connectors (A).
- Remove the smart tailgate unit (A) after loosening the nuts.
