Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Install the STG spindle assembly.
  2. Connect the STG spindle connector.
  3. Install the tail gate pillar trim.
  4. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
CAUTION:
  • When assembling the STG spindle drive to the ball socket, listen for a "click" sound to make sure that it is firmly assembled.
  • After assembling the STG Spindle drive to the ball socket, check the socket clip if it is firmly assembled or not. (the clip should not protrude from the socket.)
  • After assembling the STG Spindle drive, make sure that the grommet on the body side is firmly assembled.
