Repair Procedures: Disassembly

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the steering wheel assembly.

    (Refer to Steering System - "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ")

  3. Loosen the screw and then remove the paddle shift switch (A).

  4. Remove the paddle switch connector (A).

  5. Remove the steering back cover (A).

  6. Disconnect the connector (A) from the steering wheel remote control.

  7. Loosen the screw and then remove the steering wheel remote control (A).

  8. Disconnect the heated connector and then remove the heated wire.

  9. Loosen the screw and then remove the steering wheel remote control (A).

  10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
