Ground Circuit Inspection

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
Refer to "RAIN SENSOR " and disconnect Rain Sensor connector.
Measure resistance between Pin No. 3 (Ground) terminal of Rain Sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. below 1Ω
Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "LIN COMMUNICATION LINE INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in power circuit between Rain Sensor and Chassis ground and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
