Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Remove the battery (-) terminal.
  2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).

  3. Remove the crash pad plate [RH] (A) by using a remover.

  4. Disconnect the start/stop button connector (A).

  5. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the center fascia lower panel (A).

  6. Unfasten the mounting screws and remove the heater and air conditioner control unit (A).

  7. Press the lock pin to remove the heater and air conditioner control unit connector (A).

  8. Press the lock pin to separate the connector (A) and remove the in-car sensor (B).

  9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    NOTE:
    • Reassemble the connector correctly.
    • Replace any damaged clips.
