  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    NOTE:
    • When a new heater core is installed, replenish the compressor oil.
    • Replace the O-ring of each connection part with a new one, and apply several drops of compressor oil (refrigeration oil) on the O-ring before connecting.
    • Use an appropriate O-ring to prevent R-1234yf leakage.
    • Do not spill the coolant on the vehicle. The compressor oil may damage the paint. If the compressor oil is spilled on the paint, wipe away the oil immediately.
    • Prevent any air leak of the system.
    • Charge the system and test the air conditioning performance.
    • The inlet and outlet heater hose should not be mixed up, and tighten the hose clamp well.
    WARNING:
    • Use the refrigerant retrieval/charge device exclusively used for the electric compressor to inject the designated refrigerant (R-1234yf) and refrigeration oil (POE). If the refrigeration oil (PAG) for the ordinary car is injected, the compressor may be damaged or a safety-related accident may occur.
